Origin: A warped version of an iconic fictional hedgehog from a malicious experimental game that was created from an unknown psychiatrist that allegedly performed unethical mental and psychological treatments towards patients with mental conditions such as schizophrenia and psychosis. The game is often sent through emails with a download link, acting as a Trojan to cause a malfunction within a user’s antivirus program and cause internal damage of the victim’s data. The game itself starts off normally as the real Sonic the Hedgehog, but it said that when users play the game further, the game acts strangely and imagery begins to become surreal. Reports have also said that the game also hides secret subliminal messages that cause a hypnotic effect that causes those to continue playing the game and become “attached” to the game until they finally beat the game. This results in the game acting violent and subjecting the affected user to a multi-colored screen with more subliminal and error messages. Urban legends state that more than ten individuals have been found dead, autopsy reports conclude that the cause of death is epilepsy. However, one individual who became a survivor after playing the game, describes how the game’s main protagonist would often shift into a flurry of misshaped colors, while hearing a strange voice echoing in their head. They have also stated that when they beat the game, they would hit with flashy lights and were seizing on the floor, only to be discovered by their father and rushed into a nearby hospital. After these reports, police tracked down the address of the original creator, who happened to be found deceased in their apartment. Toxicology has revealed that the suspect was under the influence of alcohol and an unknown hallucinogenic. No one has heard from the game since then, but rumors state that this game still hides within the dark crevices on the internet, disguising itself as a video game download for the original Sonic the Hedgehog.
