I can’t think straight,
my head so light-headed from all the stresses in life.
Where do I go and what should I say?
The means to my escape are tainted, entrapping me in this nightmare.
I chase foolish dreams with a childish grin.

Slowly I walk through those silent doors to realize how lost I am,
through the densest fog, gasping for air I struggle to get through the day.
False happiness blinds me to the harsh reality, that I’m in this on my own.
Waves of emotions overwhelm me, letting me drown in thoughts of madness.
I have nowhere to run and no one to blame, as I laugh to myself in this quiet room.

So this is not the end but a begging of true madness as I sink lower, till I’m to far gone,
it’s how everyone feels but in different waves.
So I’ll learn from theses mistakes and correct myself for the masses, for I am whatever they say I am, for I do not know who I am.
