I’d like to imagine that the best ending for them isn’t the one where they stay pure or get fully brainwashed but they succeed at the half way mark. There body’s and minds have been warped but they’re still them selves just without the Inhibitions that held them back. More selfish and confident but not complete jerks or monsters.
