One of my favorite Olympians, Hector.
Hector is a New Guiana singing dog. From an early age, Hector has displayed a rather high intelligence and was able to even skip ahead a grade. His academic skills are only shadowed by his skills as a singer. Hector dreams of singing opera and practices in secret, but is often hunted down by the choir club for help.
His talents, however, have only brought misery to his life. Hector has been picked on in every single grade. Even when a bully moves, another seems to take his place. To protect himself, Hector numbed his own emotions and does their assignments in addition to his own. He is still picked on, but much less severly than before. The process has given the singing dog a very low self esteem and what pride he felt before is now buried in the past.
The only one who can break through to him is a red husky named Lisa. A friend of his since childhood, Lisa is his foil, being very lively and chipper. She has no problem defending Hector when the time comes. While he acts like her friendship bothers him, Hector truly values Lisa as a friend and would be completely lost without her encouragement and guidance.
The one in the background is Hector's alternate personality and Olympian, The god of War Ares. While one of the more powerful Olympians, Ares is the most dangerous. Brought about during times of great stress and peril, Ares takes over Hector, making his body like that of a linebacker with the agility and speed of a cross country runner. He finally is dress in pitch black armor with gold trim.
Classified as a living weapon, Ares can manifest any ancient weapon and fight with such proficiency that they rival current weaponry (ex. Shooting arrows with enough speed and force to counter gunfire). His secondary power allows him to manipulate his own gravity. He can increase it to make his attacks more powerful or decrease to move faster and jump higher.
The danger of Ares is his blood lust. once in control, Ares will destroy and slaughter all those around him , friend or foe. It is said he could rage for seven days straight without sleep before he passes out. Who could stop this monster? Who knows?
