this is my mangled jeep after rolling it over at least twice last night on my way home from work. a mix of black ice and 50mph wind gusts took me off the highway and landed me in the median. the roll bar and seat belt did their jobs..she kept me safe..i'm gonna miss her.

That look repairable....unless you tweaked the frame which is uber hard to do with Jeep Wranglers, which are the offspring of the CJ5.
From the pics looks like you need a new hood and front fenders, and new drivers side tires......
But I don't know the full extent of damage to the lovely and tough little beauty.

well..aside from whats obvious in the pic..i failed to photo the front window..i had JUST replaced that window frame..it is now mashed in and the new window cracked. there is also damage to steering and suspension components up front. it has an aftermarket 6 inch lift kit on it..somehow i doubt my insurance company will pay to replace the busted bits. she had new tires,rims..new stainless steel door hinges, new brakes, $1400.00 worth of work on the front end done last fall..the new front window and frame...and complete new exhaust.. all potentially lost in a matter of a few seconds.
Eeep! At least you're okay.. that's a huge relief! Sorry to hear it.. looks like the driver's front frame is bent... if not your'e looking at replacing the entire front body work including the rad mount and such.. but.. it's prolly still much cheaper than buying something new.. unless that's what you want to do.
well if ya hafta try a bmw 325. they say glue when they meet the road. ALL bmw's go though surgical corners, mine old 85 would laugh at black ice, no crosswind bothered him either, (german car so a him). and they get great gas millage but no bmw will go off road worth a good goddam. in snow they are the only car that will chug through two feet of the constant sticky stuff maybe drive sideways but ALWAYS drive through any kind of weather. No bmw in the junkyards, the also are never broke down on the side of the road, somehow they always drive you home then you find the weird part it needs that no other car in world even has and they drive perfectly again. with SUV's Fourwheel drive full size pickups and dare i say it jeeps spinning off the road, i had to slow down a little across the ice encrusted bridge, down from 110 to 85mph in winter time in Sterling Hieghts michigan, where they make the jeep line by the way...!
yeah..first jeep i ever owned..only vehicle i ever had that wasn't a pile of rust..if she does get totalled out i'm at least grabbing the shifter handle..it's made of wood and was given to me by my dad..that little wooded ball was in alot of my dad's muscle cars..it has the most value to me
OUCH! I have had 7 Jeeps, this is one of the major reasons why too! They are tanks and you walk away from things like this. That *is* repairable it looks like, but not cheap. I would part it out and get another one. Don't loose your love of Jeeps over this. She gave her life to save yours, honor her by getting another one and getting right back at it you know?
I'm glad you are safe!
