Chapter Thirteen
~A "Virmirish" Engagement~
              Round One

Featuring: Snow B.A.R. Leopardcess, William, Kendo Virmir, Lucile Virmir, Virumiru, Kieli(not directly), Mara(not directly), and Virbot

  A few days later, Snow B.A.R. Leopardcess and her partner in crime William were busy coming up with a plan. "Snow, you do remember the plan, right?" William asked Snow. "Yes, of course!" She snapped back. "You didn't have to snap back at me, YEESH!!" William replied, and then he added. "Let's just go over the plan again." William unraveled their play book, and then he quickly skimmed over to the "Infiltration Route". Snow sighed as he undid the bindings. "Do we really have to go over it again?!" She said with a low snarl. "First off, you will be the distraction by turning yourself into a giant. While I'll be infiltrating through the tower's dungeon level. Once I make it inside, I'll try to find any incriminating evidence that will prove my theory." William said. "Well, with that said... Aren't you forgetting something?" Snow said with a note of sarcasm. "Right... In case we do happen to engage in combat at any given time. We must dispatch our opponents with non-lethal means, via knocking them out unconscious." William said, and then he added. "In other words, "we are NOT allowed to shed any blood while we are down there in Virmir's World." Got it?" Snow simply nodded in response, and then the two snow leopards started getting themselves ready to jump into a portal that Snow has opened up. "Remember, we can't simply open a portal directly in front of Virmir's tower. Otherwise we will be caught before we even start our mission." William reminded Snow. "Ya thonk?!" Snow replied. And then they entered the portal that led to Virmir's World.
  Shortly after they jumped through the portal, the two snow leopards found themselves several feet away from a witch's hut in the middle of a swamp. "Urgh... Couldn't you have found a much better place to send us through, Snow?!" William said out loud, and then he added. "Now my paws are wet!" Snow on the other paw, didn't want to hear her "partner's" bickering. "Well, you did say somewhere that wasn't too close to Virmir's Tower, right?! But you didn't specify WHERE!!!" She snapped back. Then all of a sudden, William noticed something was "off". "Wait a minute, why do my legs feel cold all of a sudden?" He said, and then he looked down. And then he added. "WHERE ARE MY PANTS?!?! Last thing I knew, I was wearing a pair of pants before we went through the portal!!" Snow sighed as she did a face tail. "Look, we have entered "Virmir's World". So what were you expecting? Changes were bound to happen!" Snow said out loud. William decided to take a look at himself in the reflection of a nearby pond. He stared at his reflection for about a minute. "So, this is what happens when you jump into certain worlds ehh? I should document this event for future reference." William said to himself, which he now takes on the appearance of how Virmir would have drawn him, his eyes are a solid yellow with black pupils. Similar to how Virmir has drawn Kieli in his cartoony art style. After he got done looking at his new form, he turned towards Snow. Only to discover that she too, had a cartoony appearance as well. "What? Are you going to stare at mii all day?!" Snow snapped at William. "Uhh, no... Sorry about that!" William apologized, and then he added. "You're not wearing any pants either..." Snow decided to take a look for herself, and she too discovered that she lost her pants too. "Ugh... This is unexpected. So much for decency..." She said to herself. Then all of a sudden, the two snow leopards heard some rustling in the bushes. "We better get moving, the last thing we need is to be spotted." William said, and then they both slipped into the night.
  A few hours earlier, at Virmir's Tower. Kendo Virmir was holding a conversation with the "Virmir Gang". Which are Lucile Virmir, Virbot, and Virumiru. "The cakes that I keep receiving look too suspicious." Virmir said. "Yeah, that is like the third cake you received this month." Lucile said. "I wouldn't trust it Virmir. Who knows what side effects that cake might cause." Virumiru said in his broken Japanese language(lol). "It appears to me, that we will be needing a suitable candidate to be our guinea pig." Virbot said, and then he added. "Sadly, I cannot be a viable test subject. Since I am not an organic lifeform." Virmir paced around for a minute, thinking of who should be the test subject to sample the peanut butter cake that was sent to him from the "A healthy dose of Zinc" company. "Uhh... I dunno about that. But I think I might know who we can use." Virmir said, and then he added. "Lucile, Virumiru. You two go and fetch Mara for me." The two gray foxes bowed to Virmir just before setting off.
  Shortly after they left the tower, Virumiru started a little conversation with Lucile. "I know those cakes seem a little too good to be true, but don't you think it's a little mean to have Mara do all the testing on his behalf?" Lucile stayed silent for a moment before responding. "I don't question Virmir's actions." Then she added. "In my opinion, it does seem awfully mean to put her in that position." "I heard that!!" Virmir shouted out from his tower. "Oh, sorry!" Lucile replied. And then they headed off towards the swamp, where Mara resides.
  Just before they entered the swamp, Virumiru picked up something. "There has been a disturbance here. Be on your guard..." Virumiru said. Lucile nodded, and they entered the swamp with caution. They two gray foxes trekked through the marshy terrain with utmost caution. Since they don't know what caused the disturbance to the peace that lives in Virmir's World. Once they made it to Mara's hut, they discover... nothing. "Hmm... nothing here." Virumiru said, and then he added. "But there is a small hint of a ripple in space still resonating here. Whatever caused it must have been a powerful being." "If that's the case, then we must warn Virmir immediately." Lucile replied. Just before they took off, Virumiru sensed something. Something, very big... "I sense a very large presence. Whatever it is, it has no good intentions." Virumiru said. And the two foxes headed back to the tower, post-haste.
  Twenty minutes later, the two snow leopards made it to the perimeter of Virmir's Tower. "Alright, we have arrived." William said to Snow Leopy. "Is this suppose to be Virmir's Tower?! It looks alot smaller than I thought!" Snow said out loud. "Keep it down Snow! He might hear us from in there..!" William said in a hushed voice. And then he added. "I think now will be a good time for the distraction." Snow just stood there with her arms crossed. "Hrmph! Why don't YOU do the distraction instead?!" Snow snapped. "Because, you make a far better distraction than me. Besides, you've always wanted to meet Virmir in person, riiight?" He said to Snow. "FINE!!! I'll do the distraction, William!!!" Snow shouted out, and then she added. "Just don't get crushed under my paws, 'kay?" William did a face paw, and he let out a sigh. "Alright, good luck to you, Snow B.A.R. Leopardcess." He said, and then he headed towards the tower. Snow took a few steps back, and then she got herself ready to make herself much bigger. "Okay, I got this." She said to herself, and then suddenly. She started to grow taller and taller. Until she stood an astonishing fourty-five feet tall. And then, she started walking towards the tower. Each footfall, making a thunderous boom. And her large paws left behind giant paw-shaped depressions into the earthy ground that she treaded on.
  Moments earlier, Virmir was busy working on his next art project. Until things in his tower started to rattle. "Huh? Is there an Earthquake coming?" Virmir asked himself. Then the stuff in his tower started to rattle again. Though this time, he heard a thunderous boom. As if someone with heavy feet was walking right towards him. He then took a peek out of his window, and he discovered the cause of the shaking and rattling of his tower. It was a towering deep sapphire blue snow leopard with bright white spots. And she was coming towards his tower. "Uhh... hate it when this happens." Virmir said to himself, and he was about to head out of his tower. But then, he felt something bump into the tower. Which caused him to lose his balance, and he fell onto his fluffy rump. "Can this day get any worse?!" He said to himself, but then. Something from outside was starting to rip the roof off of his tower. Once the being tore the roof off, it's identity was finally revealed. "Ohh, good evening Virmir." The giant Snow Leopy said. "Ahh good trees! Not this again!" Virmir shouted out, and then he added. "Do you even realize how much it costs to fix a roof nowadays?! Not only that, where in the World am I suppose to find the right people to fix such a disastrous thing to begin with?!?!" Snow Leopy worn the expression of guilt on her face. "Look, I just wanted to meet you in person Virmir." Snow said. "Well, you probably should have sent me a message or something in advance." Virmir replied with a note of annoyance. "Look, I'm really, really sorry for dropping by in such short notice." Snow apologized, and then she tried to give Virmir a soft kiss as an apology. Though that was her biggest mistake of the night. Once the giant snow leopardess came in closer, Virmir conjured up his hammer. And he swung it with full force, striking her nose dead center. "OWW!!! Ohh... Right in my nose!!!" Snow shouted in pain, and she was reeling back from the hefty blow. And then one of her paws came across one of the stone walls that decorate Virmir's property. Which caused her to fall over, which shook everything within a few hundred feet from the giant snow leopardess.
  After being dazed for several seconds, the giant Snow Leopy slowly recovered from being smacked square in the nose by Virmir's hammer. "That should teach you for trying to mess with me!" Virmir shouted out towards Snow B.A.R. Leopardcess. Once she managed to get up on both of her paws, she got frustrated at the famous gray fox. She felt both hurt and betrayed, especially after being attacked by her most favorite artist in the World. "YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT, VIRMIIIR!!!!!!!!!" Snow shouted out at the top of her lungs, and to Virmir's surprise. Snow shrunk down to her original size. "What is she doing now?" Virmir said to himself with a note of suspicion. Then suddenly, Snow miraculously bounded up towards the top level of his tower. Once she made it up to Virmir's level, she let out a feral snarl. And then she pounced right towards him. "This won't end well..." Virmir said, and then he got pounced on by the enraged snow leopardess. Which he let out a "GAAAH!!" just as he was hit by her attack. Then the two ended up tumbling down the stairway that lead to the floor below. Once they stopped tumbling, Virmir kicked Snow off of him. And she landed on all fours as gracefully as a true feline. She then snarled at him. "How dare you attack mii, Virmir?! MII???!!!" She shouted at the gray fox, and then she added. "I tried to be nice to you, and THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY MII???!!!" Virmir had no idea what she was talking about. "Attack you?! You were the first one to attack! Whatever it is you are doing, you better get out. Before things really get much worse for you. HARUMPH!!" Virmir replied. Snow only let out a snarl as her response, and then she conjured up an icicle. And then she chucked it at him. Virmir quickly conjured up a fireball of his own, and he tossed it towards Snow's icy projectile. Which resulted in an explosion of two opposing elements. They both ended up shielding their faces from the magical explosion. "So, this frisky feline can use ice magic? I better keep my guard up, unless I want to end up becoming a frosty fox." Virmir said to himself. "Ohh, so you have been practicing your fighting skills, ehh Virmir?" Snow Leopy said to him, and then she added. "I still have a few more tricks up my sleeves, mind you." And then she conjured up a couple of sapphire blue katanas, and then she readied herself for another attack. "Uhh, this kitty wants a fight?" Virmir said to himself, and then he said. "You're asking for it!" And then he conjured up his "Urocyon Hammer" out of thin air, and he got himself ready for a real fight. A fight like no other.
  Fifteen minutes earlier, down in the dungeon level. William was busy stealing himself into position. "Alright, the cat's in the building." He said to himself, and then he started sneaking around. Trying to find his way to the upper levels. "Geez, this place is a whole lot bigger on the inside than I expected." He said to himself, and shortly after. He found the stairway that lead to the upper floor. "Time to leave this dump." He said to himself, but just before he left the dungeon. He heard a muffled shout coming from outside. "OWW!!! Ohh... Right in my nose!!!" Snow shouted out from outside. "That doesn't sound good. I better head upstairs, and fast!" He said to himself, and then he proceeded to the upper floor.
  Shortly after, William made it to the first floor. "Alright, I'm gonna do a quick scan of each floor. Until I find enough evidence to prove my theory. Then I'll go and help out Snow." He said to himself. After he quickly scanned the first floor, he found nothing incriminating. "Grr... nothing!" He growled to himself. And then he headed up to the next floor. He quickly scanned the second floor, though still nothing useful. "Next floor..." He said to himself. He was just about to head up to third floor, but an unknown presence caught his attention. He turned around to see none other than, Virbot. "INTRUDER ALERT!! INTRUDER ALERT!! INITIATING ALL DEFENSIVE PROTOCOLS!!" The robotic fox shouted out. "Looks like my cover is blown. I think it's time to send this bot to the scrap yard!" William said out loud, and then he jumped down to the second floor. "I bet I can handle this hunk of junk with no weapons at all." He said to himself with a devious grin on his face. Virbot was getting himself ready to engage the dark gray snow leopard with purple spots. Then he equipped himself with his flamethrower arm, and started to blast away at William. "Urgh. Hold still, intruder!!" Virbot said to William. The snow leopard simply dodged all of the searing flames. "What's the matter, bot? Can't burn a simple kitty cat?" William said in a sarcastic way, which only agitated the robotic fox. "No matter. ACTIVATING LASER EYES!!" Virbot said, and then he started to blast away at the dark gray snow leopard. "Lasers?! Where in the World did he get lasers from?!" William said to himself, and he barely dodged every laser beam that was fired off by Virbot.
  Just as soon as Virbot stopped firing off his eye lasers, he took a good look at the destruction he caused to Virmir's second floor. "Uh oh. Master Virmir will not be pleased with this mess." Virbot said to himself, and then he added. "Wait. Target lost. Need to find and cap-" then suddenly. William snuck up on Virbot from behind, and he tore off one of his arms. Which the appendage was sheared off with William's sharp claws. "Ow. That hurt. You will pay for that, intruder!" Virbot said to William. "Ohh, really now? Well, this is going to hurt even more!" William replied, and then he grabbed a hold of Virbot. And then he ripped the bot's legs and hip segment apart from the torso, and he tossed the legs away. And then, William grabbed Virbot's head. And then he started to pull and screw off Virbot's head. Virbot tried to fight off his attacker with his remaining arm, but to no avail. Then William ripped Virbot's head clean off of his robotic body. He then tossed the torso section away, and he still hung onto Virbot's head. "Well well, what do we have here? A bot, without a proper body..." William said with sarcasm, and then he added. "You should have quit, while you're a head!" And then he tossed Virbot's head aside. "Ow." Virbot said as his head hit the floor.
  A few minutes later, Snow B.A.R. Leopardcess and Virmir were fighting eachother. Snow tried to slash away at the gray fox, though she had no intentions to cut him up deli style. Snow then delivered a hefty dropkick to Virmir's chest, which has sent him flying into a wall. "GAAAH!!" Virmir shouted out as he hit the wall. He recovered from the hit as quickly as possible. Then he tossed his hammer towards the sapphire blue snow leopardess. She braced herself for his attack, but suddenly. Virmir and his hammer disappeared in a cartoony "POOF!" "What in the Distortion World was that?!" Snow said in utter confusion. Then suddenly, Virmir popped up right behind her. "Surprise!!" The cartoon gray fox shouted out, and then he smacked Snow's face with his hammer. "OOOF!!!" Snow shouted out as she was sent flying into a wall. Snow Leopy, now dazed. Managed to get back up onto her feet. "Grrrh...! STOP BOPPING MII ON MY NOSE!!!!!!" She shouted out at Virmir. The cartoon gray fox was just about to leap towards the wounded Snow Leopy, until... A whip made out of pure energy wrapped around his neck, and then he was yanked away from his intended target. "GAK!!" Virmir squawked as he got choked by the purple energy whip. And then he landed right next to another snow leopard's paws. "Nice move, Fox!" The other snow leopard said to Virmir. Which was actually William, who was coming to rescue Snow Leopy from Virmir. "Are you alright Snow?" William asked Snow. "Where in the Distortion World did you learn to do that, William???!!!" Snow said in a puzzled way. "What, the whip? Ahh, well. It's a little trick that I picked up during my bounty hunts." William replied. Virmir rubbed his neck, right where the whip has snagged him. And he coughed a little, before he got back up to his feet. "There's two of you now?!" Virmir said out loud, and then he added. "And who are you exactly?! Are you like her partner or something like that?!" "Well, we're more like acquaintances actually. I'm more like her shadow in a way." William replied. "A shadow you say? Now that's something you don't hear everyday." A voice said from behind the two snow leopards. Which actually belonged to none other than Lucile Virmir.
  "So, there are two of you then? That's interesting." William replied to Lucile. And then she went over to Virmir's side. "Are you alright, male clone?" Lucile asked Virmir. "Yeah, I've been through worse, female clone." Virmir replied. "So, there are two of you now???" William asked Virmir. Then suddenly, a gentle breeze blown right through Virmir's Tower. And there were cherry blossoms carried by the wind. "What on Earth is this?" William said with a puzzled look on his face. "There is another creature watching us from the shadows, William." Snow said with a note of caution in her voice. Then, as if from out of nowhere. A figure stood on top of the supporting beams that help hold the tower upright. And then it descended down from it's roost. And it's identity came into view. It was none other than Virumiru. "So, you must be the one who tore Virbot to pieces. And you have destroyed almost everything on the second floor of Virmir's Tower." Virumiru said to William. "What on Earth did he just say? It sounded like nothing but gibberish!!" William replied with annoyance. "You will pay for your arrogance, Shadow Cat!" Virumiru said out loud.
  And then, all five combatants got themselves ready for "A Virmirish Engagement".
