I had been watching Kiwi for a little while before I decided to get this commission. I hadn't seen her draw many outfits like this before but her art was all quite adorable. Finally I had one day decided to reach out to her and this was the result! Turns out she really loves outfits like this and was super happy to see what I had suggested ^.^ There's just something so clean and cute about Kiwi's art. I've since become a big fan and attend her streams whenever I can just to watch her draw!

I LOVE HOW CUTE THIS TURNED OUT! Look at her! I love her figure here, Kiwi makes Penelope look so dainty! This has such a calm and gentle look and I love it! She did a really good job with her face here, and did a really good job with her eyes too! I loved this look so much that I had later decided to ask her to do a new ref sheet for me, which I'll be posting soon enough, but not before I got a few more commissions from her :3c

The outfit was mostly derived from an outfit I found online, but Kiwi added in a few touches of her own to tie the whole thing together. I absolutely adore this color scheme for Penelope. Pink and yellow are precious colors that go SO well together! I really love all the little frills and bows and details here as well.

The scenery is really pretty too! She had told me she doesn't get to do backgrounds very often and was excited to do this one. Looks like she's visiting a sunny botanical garden! She had asked me what kind of flowers I liked and I gave a list, but didn't really have a strong idea of what the background would be. "A pretty place to walk" was about as detailed as I got for this one and I'm happy to see this is the result XD

The whole commission process was super quick with no requested revisions, just a lot of me gushing as soon as I saw the sketch of this XD Big recommend for this artist, she's always a delight to work with and one I look forward to commissioning many times in the future!
