Hey folks! ^_^ I did it again, I made a new character... AND I REGRET NOTHING!!!! Here for your enjoyment is the latest member of the fashion Major, the Hahakomori know as "Touch Up", the one and only Charlotte Tisserandeau!!

I made her for several reasons including a friend for Maddie, I wanted a member in fashion, I figured clothing repair is just as important as outfit design, and I just really really wanted to make a character out of this species.

General Appearance: Tall, lean, long limbed, and with a dancers build Charlotte oddly enough has enough curves to be rather attractive (she has her final evolution to thank for this) and a decently sized bust which she’s rather proud of. She keeps the leafy “Collar” framing her face healthy and green… though it’s edges still sport a slightly lacey pattern from where a much younger Charlotte decided to make it look “Prettier” She takes great pride in her appearance and body and is meticulous about caring for both and it shows. She is nearly always seen smiling and when not working or focused on something important has a slightly distracted look on her face.

Clothing Style: Umm… well… uh… okay, lets be honest. There’s NO rational way to explain her sense of style. Jackets, dresses, skirts, shirts, pants, and everything in between, there isn’t a single scrap of clothing she owns that she hasn’t “Modified” to suit her tastes more or outright custom made herself. That being said her tastes include ribbons, frills, bows, overdone styles, unneeded additions to normal outfits, amazingly bright color combinations, and basically going so over the top that she circles back around and goes over it again. Since she custom makes or modifies her outfits she makes a point to make two little alterations to everything to help show off her body a little more. One she always makes the tops a little tighter than necessary to show off her bosom more and she’ll modify things so that they hug her hips and show off the curves a little better. It’s also important to note that she actually doesn’t have any outfits that could be considered scanty or that would show off too much skin… she’s a bit of a prude on those points.

Accessories: While she doesn’t wear any traditional jewelry or accessories, she makes a point to always have a matching purse with her outfits (in which she stores essentials and of course an emergency sewing kit if anything should go wrong) and she has a fondness for Alice bands with little top hats or bows attached to them.

Personality: Bright, cheerful, energetic, and completely unapologetic Charlotte’s eccentricities would normally make her rather hard to be around of it wasn’t for the fact she seems to be hard-wired firmly into nice mode. She doesn’t hide her style, fashion sense, or way of doing anything in the least but also understands that not everyone appreciates it or enjoys it. She carries herself with a sense of absolute confidence at all times and feels she is quite capable of doing anything she sets her mind to… she just might have to work for it is all. She tends to be rather scatterbrained and air-headed with anyone she’s not close to thanks to the fact that when not with friends or focusing on her work she’s usually thinking over six things at once at the minimum. While she’s known to be really nice she has a nasty bit of a jealous and spiteful streak in her and dislikes it immensely when folks ignore her work or just write her off as the “Repair Girl”… doing this is sure to earn you her ire and one of her patented “Revenges” Many a mon has slighted Charlotte and found that when they got out of the school shower all the clothes they’ve brought with them have been given an extreme makeover. Beyond this though she’s relatively happy with the niche she carved out for herself and enjoys it though she dreams of becoming as well known as a certain team of shell heads. All in all she’s a nice, if extremely eccentric, girl who’s a decent person to be friends with… as long as you don’t let her pick out your outfit. Oh and as expected from her species and from somebody with two younger siblings she tends to have a large soft spot for children.

History: The daughter of the owner of a large fashion house in Goldenrod city (her mom) and its top designer (her dad) she lived most of her life without wanting for much and well immersed in the high class world of fashion. From an early age she tried to get involved in the family business, but despite her parents encouragement and best efforts to help her… well… her designs weren’t exactly what most folks were looking for in a normal season. Luckily fashions change on a dime so on occasions a few of her fashions got a brief moment to shine once they were improved upon… and for a little Charlotte that was more then enough to make her happy.

Her real lucky break came when she was 8. She was with her folks at a fashion show when one of the models threw a huge hissy fit and ended up trashing the dress she was to model and several other outfits for the show… during the ensuing panic nobody noticed the little Kurumiru diligently working to sew the outfits back together till she tugged on her mothers skirt and held the fixed clothes up to her. From there on they explored and found that while her own fashion designs were not exactly marketable Charlotte had a huge talent for fixing and modifying clothes and after a little more experimenting it turned out she could do the same for nearly anything involving cloth. Charlotte became talented enough she could make repairs so perfectly you couldn’t even tell the item had been ripped or damaged in the first place.

Her folks knew EXACTLY what field their eldest child’s skills would be best in and when she came of age enrolled her into the PCA, majoring in the fashion department. She thought it would be a chance to find others who’d appreciate her particular style… but after several failures at creating workable team uniforms she decided it would be best to let the much more popular, and for that particular field much more talented, Team Shellshock, handle that while she easily fell into fixing and modifying clothes for those who needed it only doing outfits on her own time or at request. Need a uniform that’s been ripped to ribbons repaired? Evolved recently and clothes no longer fit right? Then Charlotte is the one to go see. She’s become good enough that she’s earned the nickname “Touch Ups” for her talent in her particular field.

One other thing, she’s close friends with another student who joined the PCA at around the same time she did. A certain miltank by the name of Madeline but normally know as Maddie. They officially met when a still Kurumayu Charlotte was trying for the third time to make some kids clothes for a local charity… her first two designs were rather… odd and weren’t suited for the kids they’d be sent to (they looked like something you’d put on really expensive dolls, not really something to give poor kids to try and struggle to put on). While she was hard at work a miltank girl who’d been helping with the charity offered to give Charlotte a hand with her designs… and several sets of well made and simple clothes later they’d managed to become close friends. Even now they still hang out on occasion and the only reason Charlotte didn’t offer to let Maddie room with her in the dorms was she knew the cow well enough to guess what would happen.

Fighting Style: To be honest Charlotte isn’t that good a fighter. She just isn’t too interested in it. Sure she’s fast and incredibly agile but she lacks the natural flare that many folks on campus have. Her whole strategy for the most part is a basic hit and run style match with her using her various moves to hit the opponent from close, mid, and long range while dodging anything they throw at her. In fact she only learned Helping Hand for a completely unrelated reason, she knows she can’t use it in battle. The only thing she has going for her is a rather odd trick. She came up with this during a fight against an umbreon that kept getting to close for comfort. In the wild ferals of her species makes clothes out of silk and leaves… both things she can create using her moves. So she decided to give it a try and before the confused mon could figure out why she was using String Shot and Razor Leaf the way she was Charlotte ended up creating what could be called an all natural straight jacket. It didn’t last long but it slowed him down and surprised the hell out of the mon long enough for her to pull off a win. She’s used several variations of the trick and they’re all rather flimsy thanks to the speed at which they’re made but holding together for a few seconds is normally more than enough.

Miscellaneous Facts: Though she doesn’t speak French normally and lacks most of the accent she did learn enough of the language from her father to indulge in her tendency to give nicknames to people she considers her close friends. She calls Maddie her “Soeur Gentil” which means Gentle Sister, she refers to Pre-K as “Mon Poupon Groupe” which means My Little Baby Group (if Sammi ever figures out she’ll hurt Charelotte badly), and she refers to Team Shellshock as “Les Tortues Bizarres” or The Funny Turtles.

She’s quite happy being single and will politely turn away any offers or advances… after she evolved she found these coming rather often and started to become annoyed with them, but it did inspire her to learn the move Attract to put her looks to good use.

She’s an excellent masseuse and learned Helping Hand to help improve it… she normally only works with friends or peoples she close to but it’s quite the experience.

One of her favorite things to make is baby and patterned blankets… it’s one of the few things she’ll actually make without going too insanely far with. Maddie as sent several of these back to the orphanage for the children and the members of Pre-K have each received a custom made one from Charlotte.
