This I think is a tender for a K-28 class locomotive, my personal favorite.
Either that or a K-36. I'll have to go back and do some photo comparing to be sure.
It's deffinently NOT one for a K-37.
The K-37 class were built originally as standard gauge 2-8-0s and then later rebuilt as narrow gauge 2-8-2s. A "conversion kit" was supplied by Baldwin to make the modifications. The also used the original standard gauge tender and trucks! The wheels were simply adjusted to 3ft gauge using standard gauge axles.

I'm not big fans of the K-36s or K-37s. I LOVE the K-28s, K-27s, and the various C class locos used on the D&RG/D&RGW. But as a historian and lover of ALL steam I like to learn this stuff. Plus I find it interesting that the D&RGW converted a standard gauge loco to 3ft narrow gauge.
