It was a risk for GM to downsize the Fullsize line but it paid off they are great cars

I thought the 1977 "New Chevrolet" was a vast improvement over the outgoing model. They had a nice, clean look about them, and improved handling. They had better outward visibility, too. I once owned a 1971 Impala, and I thought the '77s were nicer to drive.

They are great cars and the styling was topnotch. I have a 89 Caprice and love that thing it was a shame when GM ended production of their Full-size sedans

Very nice pic here. I like caprice/caprice classics and similar type of cars.I've driven many of them, owned my late dads fathers 1987 caprice classic in the early 2000's. Agree the previous generation body style before 1977 was not that great haha!

Had a late 70's diesel one. People didn't understand the plug sticking out of the grill.
Liked the plate prior to this one.
