As the night starts to get late, our second to last downtime story centers around fleshing out King Max and Queen Alicia. While Queen Alicia was a great background character, having epic moments such as standing up to Naugus for her ailing husband, we plan to give her a bit more to do in not too distant chapters. As for her outfit, based on some of the things she wore in the past mixed with what Princess Sally Acorn wore whenever she wore her "Royal Outfits" to pass judgements or act as ruler, it feels like something she'd wear. Remember our goal is to stick with the classic Archie dress code, not what it turned into at its end.
Though this page is probably an example of extremes for us XD It's as extreme we'll get with adult/mature themes, as extreme we'll get with inserting characters directly into the story (though still as background characters used to help the actual characters improve) and as extreme we'll get with updating a character (namely giving Alicia a little bit of self defense power behind the scenes). Hopefully you guys are okay with it, since some really fun things will come from it in the near future XD
With the royal couple retiring for the night, who could the last downtime story be about? Guess we'll find out!
