We entered the Kirin camp around noon and received a warm greeting from the inhabitants. To call these ponies garrulous would be an understatement! The sound of speech fairly reverberated throughout the community!

As visitors we soon found ourselves surrounded by a large number of the curious! The children pressed us enthusiastically with questions! “Did you lose your chest fluff?” “Where is your horn?” “Why is his horn different?” “Did she trade her horn for those wings?” Were it not for the timely intervention of the community leader, I think we would have exhausted ourselves and not even answered half of the questions directed our way!




He stood off from the rest of the crowd. Ears swiveled forward, drinking in the sound of the community.

“Who is that?” The pegasus pointed with her wingtip. Off from the crowd of chatting Kirin one individual, midnight blue mane, charcoal scales in contrast to a pale white fur.

“Oh, that is Midnight Hymn. He's a little... different.”



Love the design of these characters! it has been a while, but I guess I'll give a try at my own Kirin OC...
