I'm alive!1 .... ok not really, I'm not free yet, I'm still kind of drowning in school at the moment. I just thought I'd upload this because I really like how it came out! It was an assignment I did for my concept class. It's apart of our..drama painting series.
This is my Victorian Scottish Terrier character I came up with in the beginning of the semester from all of those silhouettes we had to do. xD He still doesn't have a name yet though...probably gonna go with Victor or something.

Holy mackerel batman! 0_o This looks super professional! Your linework, the colors, the background, the rain... everything about it flows really well together and looks like something out of an animated film, only way better because there's much more detail. And great job on what looks like a challenging angle!
I'm inclined to agree with the above commenters, albeit in a typically uneducated manner. The detail is fantastic, with more small things to notice the longer one looks at the image, while the lighting and rain certainly add a dynamic feel and depth to the whole thing. Overall, beautiful piece of work!

I absolutely positively 100% was sure it was a Scottish Terrier version of Alucard, from Hellsing ( http://hellsingmania.webs.com/alucard.gif ), and I was really confused for a couple minutes.

Hehe, it's funny that you saw that because I totally have a thing for Alucard <3 So I'm not surprised that when I come up with characters like this, a little bit of him manages to pop through at some point. However, tbh, I actually got a lot of inspiration from Ciel (from Kursoshitsuji) for this guy. C:
