Well I decided I'd start out with a few of my most recent images that I've done, then I'll see about putting a few of my old things up as I think I've only got them on CD somewhere around my place.

I did this in the past few months as I have/was heavily playing my Pokemon Saphire game. I happened to be raising three of the four Pokemon shown here at the time, the three being the dragon or soon to be dragon type pokemon. Since the coloring of this picture only three of the five characters have names.

The trainer's name is Leo Regulus, he's hair and eye color come from a lion character of mine name Regulus thus why as a trainer his first name is Leo. The other two that are name are the Flygon, named Terra, and the Mightyena, named Vwee. Both Terra and Vwee are females, they are also Leo's first two Pokemon, Terra being his original Pokemon, thus her protectiveness of the young man.

To explain the coloring of the Pokemon. Terra and Vwee are both "Shiny" Pokemon, the Bagon is a "Dark" Pokemon, and the Swablu is a normal Pokemon. Normaly I wouldn't have put any "look at me and my super-awsome-special-looking-pokemon" but I couldn't help it in this case. I just really liked the Shiny coloes of both the Mightyena and the Flygon. I also liked the darker look of Bagon as a Dark pokemon, it gave me the idea that he had a bit of a dark past (as lame as that sounds).

Also, this was the original sketch I did of these five, it hasn't been edited other than to color it. When I did this, it was the first time for me drawing any pokemon seriously. Leo Regulus I'm oddly happy with because I rarely draw humans, however I'm not too happy with the fact that I tried to darken the lines aroundhis eyes when i was coloring him. He now looks a bit like he has eyeliner on.

Oh and another thing, the only refs I had for the Pokemon was the PokeDex in my Saphire game so that coupled with this was the first time drawing these pokemon you can see heavy refs to at least the Flygon, Terra, and the Bagon though I did try to change their poses to be more creative.
