I like the lineart and the details are good
but...I think the white lights and black shadows are a bit exagerated

Maybe you can use the transparency for these layers

Trust me, I know what you mean by exagerated.

I had them lightened up a whole lot, but when I showed him, he requested the shadows and lights to be more...intense and accentuated.

:shrugs: I don't know if that's what he meant at first, but when he saw it, he stumbled around saying "Oh god. Wow" Repeatedly..

But yes, I would've rather used a transparancy layer.

:nod: I appreciate it very well because it helps me assess my work in hopes of breaking out of a repetivive habit that may form into a problem later on, like the shading for instance. If it was me who wanted such dark shadows and never saw that it was too exaggerated, I would've made the same mistake again and again.

But when someone speaks about it, I make sure to note it and not make the same mistake again.
