SO this was the result of me pitching the idea of a troublemaker/punk Penelope, which Fern immediately signed up for. I've always been a fan of contrast like that! "Darkside Penelope, when she goes to an alternate universe." as Fern phrased it XD

I made a comment when Fern showed me a sketch preview about poor Kuromi lying broken on the ground there and Fern predicted it would happen and drew a silly doodle for the aftermath (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/48143004/) I made the comment of "Tough as nails for the entirety of the photoshoot, crying 100% of the time on the way home."

The original version of this had bloody knees and a bloody nose and I was just too baby to let it happen x.x Fern didn't mind cleaning it up and putting band-aids on the cuts, but I felt bad for basically okaying it all the way up to the coloring phase :x

LOOK AT HER THOUGH! This is SO COOL! I really love the spiked headband she's got on, and the makeup she has on, especially how it's running, is just so good! She looks so serious, so scary! :D You just KNOW she's going to do the same thing to whoever hurt her precious Kuromi plushy :C

I really love the lighting on this one. Night scenes have become something of a favorite of mine recently, this was the first one I ever got if I remember correctly!

It's always fun to go out of the box from time to time. Fern is one of those artists that I feel comfortable letting her do whatever she might think up of, since I know no matter what she'll end up making it work :D
