GOSH! I remember telling Fern that this was shaping up to be one of my favorites way back in the sketch phase. Fast forward four-ish years later and YEAH it's still one of my favorites!

LOOK HOW COLORFUL THIS IS! I know I'm usually a fan of pastels but WOW! This is such an engaging piece! Look at all the little trinkets and doodads she has on! Each piece of the outfit is its own unique thing going for it. The cutesy prints on the skirtall are SO adorable! I love stripey shirt and leggies, and look at those amazing colorful boots! This is SUCH a fun piece and I love it! There are so many little details to get lost in here :D

This was largely Fern being creative, but this was also inspired as a base by some of my Second Life outfits. She showed me the sketch to this and I got excited seeing the happy jumping pose. I don't get nearly enough action in my commissions!

It's funny, when she was talking about what kind of themes to do for the clothing she mentioned a handful of different ideas she could go with, and then when she shared a more finished version of the commission it was apparent she had decided to simply go with all of them XD

I really like how Penelope herself turned out here as well, her figure is perfect here, her colors as well, ESPECIALLY her eyes! Fern showed me a close-up of the eyes behind the sunglasses, she spent SO LONG getting them perfect only to cover them up XD That's dedication though ♥

Honestly, Fern is another artist I cannot recommend enough. She's a blast to work with and is SO MUCH FUN!
