I've had the bad stuff and the 'supposed' good stuff. I think it all tastes awful. BTW, if Lacy and her Siamese Cat friend look like trouble, it's because they are. They'll have more significant roles later on.

Oh man Vodka gives me chest pains. I drank a mixed drink (it was delicious) while I was on vacation, it had Vodka in it... I was at the top of a mountain... on an island! Oh hell I didn't think I would make it down. I won't even touch anything with Vodka in it now, none the less drink it straight. I tried that before ugh! I will stick with my sissy froufrou drinks as everyone calls them. At least I don't get chest pains that way XD
Wonder whats up with Lacy and her friend. I wouldn't like her as a roomie either.
Go for it Chucky XP

What was it mixed with? It could have been that. But then again, alcohol is on the list of things that can cause heartburn, just depends on the person. Red wine used to give me horrendous heartburn, but for whatever reason it no longer does.
Lacy is an angry little prude who's roommate isn't cool enough for her.

I know it had Kahlua and Baileys Irish Cream. The rest I'm not to sure. But I have reacted poorly to Vodka in the past, so I figured a mix of that plus the high altitude that probably caused it. Serious chest pains though. I thought I was having a heart attack. It was crazy. Yeah I get you on the heartburn thing. I still get that with wine.
My boss brought us back an assortment of Polish Chocolates one christmass. in amongst them were these chocolate coverd fruites, but instead of syrupy sugar the liquide part was strong fruit brandy...
a few of my co-workers did not like them, and had no problem letting me run off with most of them. Got home to find my mom out for the cound with a cold on the couch. I made the mistake of letting her have her choice of the chocolatest I had brought with me, and tried to warne her that the one she had picked had alcohol as an ingrediant.
My words came out along the line of 'Carfull, there is licker in there'. Her Responce was that they always list liquer as one of the ingrediants, it is liquide chocolate essence or some such.
Her reaction after swalowing half of it was along the lines of Chucky's

Vodka is pretty nasty straight on, it takes someone with taste buds attuned to bitter/sour things to enjoy it. I like vodka mixed with orange or cranberry juice though. Gin is also clear but tastes like burning cherries for me. The flavored vodkas are pretty good too. heh, I wonder how Chucky would react to moonshine, that stuff is about as strong as Everclear, I've only tasted it once and it was pretty bitter but smooth and gave me a buzz pretty fast.
Yeah, vodka's not my thing taken straight, but mixed with cranberry juice?? Oh hell yeah!!!
I've never tried vodka and grapefruit juice though....gotta try that!!
Chucky must really be thanking his lucky stars that Adam's an awesome roommate...
Love Nimsha's expression in panel nine!

Vodka is definitely an acquired taste! But so is beer, I guess, or any alcoholic drink.
I can drink vodka straight, so I might be a bad person to suggest a brand, but I am a big fan of Prairie vodka. It lacks the alcoholic burning aftertaste; it's probably the smoothest vodka I've ever had, and it makes wonderful mixed drinks.
(I've always said if you don't like a certain kind of liquor I can change your mind, but I'm kind of a cocktail nut ;) )
