It's been extremely busy lately with work and family since the last time I uploaded, and I've been slowly working on refining the details of my characters.
After further changes to the line drawings, I came to a final form and wanted to share it and show my work in progress. This is a flat color of the profile views of my character Aurora Lumina. I drew scale textures along her head, arms, wings, and legs to add hierarchy as well as redesigned her bioluminescence marks on her body. Previously, her blue markings were too large and obtrusive so I wanted to minimize the markings and make it more elegant. I'm quite happy with the design. Compared to her previous form in the reference sheet from 2020, this is a big improvement. There's still a lot of work to be done on her from additional textures to shading and highlighting. This will take several months to complete since I'm very busy with my full-time job, but I am really excited to see how it's coming along and look forward to finishing it.
