In Warhammer 40k lore was the time when beastmen was counted as a Abhuman, like Ogryns and Ratlings, such a shame that this idea was dropped.

no no they're still amung the abhuman list, just as of late in lore they haven't really been seen in military service. likely from racist elements excluding them.
But they're still alive and well. just more likely chilling in hive worlds.
just because they haven't been seen more likely implies that the regiments that still recruit them are small and unoticed.
