April's portrait reward for 
Kos_the_dragon, featuring his character Saxon.
I really wanted to do something traditionally painted so I decided to use acrylics for this piece. First I only used those triangular shapes on the background to achieve that sunny forest feeling, but I quite liked how they looked so I decided to experiment with using them for the shading and lighting on the character as well. I'm pretty happy with how that turned out.
