Here's a turnaround of AyameAwoo's Dungeons and Dragons OC, the blind Yuan-ti, Caelie Cusian.

Because of the dark history of the Yuan-ti, known for being evil as most come from a magic ritual that corrupts their body and mind, as well as her distracting beauty, she was badly blinded by those who feared and envied her.

Now, after offering her service to a higher power, Caelia now lives a new life with her newly gained magic, and her familiar, a winged snake, who can communicate with her and let her see from it's eyes. So though blind physically, she has ways of 'seeing' the world around her.
