Waking with the lady in gold
above my face, in a field of black.
To my feet in fear.
Recoiling of last memories. Tragedy.
As she calmly waited.
My friends, my family, my life I screamed.
She calmly waited.
Not my time, not my place, not for me.
She calmly waited.
My fury unbound lashing at the lady in gold.
She calmly waited. Until.
She's not. Never was.

She had no mouth to scream.
My time, My place, not for me.
She had been shaking.
My fury drained in front of the girl.
The gold was flaking.
Her friends, her family, her life.
I sat with the lady in a field of gold.
