So, as the one-person skeleton crew of this weird ship, I thought I'd elaborate on how exactly this funky AU works where Fox McCloud and Tiny Kong get together, lol. I had some kind of story some years ago, but that is SO not canon anymore, lol. So, let's set the scene!

Fox McCloud would have had two Lylat Wars under his belt. AKA the events of Starfox 1 & 2.

Meanwhile, Tiny Kong would've gone through the events of Diddy Kong Racing with the rest of her Timburr Island buddies.

After the events of the second game, Fox is on the hunt for Wolf O'donnel, who is on the run and Fox is determined to hunt him down and bring him to justice; one way or another. He eventually gets word that Wolf was last seen around Sector X. Fox flies off to chase him down, ignoring Slippy's warning that there's something going down with Sector X. But Fox isn't listening; he's got a score to settle with Wolf.

Once there, Fox & Wolf get into a dogfight. Wolf gets the jump on Fox, but Fox has played this scenario over and over in his head. He's able to quickly flip the table and has Wolf right where he wants him.

And then, a solar flare hits Sector X! It triggers a warp gate and sends both Fox & Wolf flying through space & time.

Fox McCloud crashes onto a strange island; Kongo Bongo. He tries to contact the Gray Fox, but gets nothing. Fox quickly stashes his ship and gets started on trying to find a way to fix it and get it off of the ground.

Meanwhile, Tiny Kong had noticed the crash and came running, eventually seeing Fox McCloud. Fox is hessitant at first, he has a bad history with monkeys, but unlike certain members of Team Starfox, Fox has no problem with monkeys, so he greets Tiny friendly-like. Meanwhile, Tiny is eager to meet a new friend!

Fox: Have your people discovered crystal fusion or are you still burning fossil fuels?

Tiny: ...Crystal what and fossil who?

Fox: Nevermind.

Fox tries to walk off to find someone who can actually help him, with Tiny following along and asking questions. Initially, she's pretty sarcastic about it all. Tiny might be willing to believe in a giant jack-in-the-box monsters and banana fairies and wizard pigs in space, but a fox-man flying a spaceship? Yeah, lol, okay. Her buddy Conker told her ALL about people like Fox; he's just trying to act cool to impress her.

And then Fox pulls out his blaster and shoots a Kremling thug that popped out of the bushes.

Yeah, okay, maybe he really was a space fox...
