The Falmari, or Foam-riders, are The Telerin elves that crossed the Great Sea and came to Paradise in Aman, and founded Alqualonde that is Swan-haven. In Alqualonde were the Falmari murdered in numbers by the Noldorin Elves for their swan-shaped ships. Mayhap in this image are elven parents bereft of their children or lovers of their beloved, making the first Elven dirge in Paradise with their renown skills in song and music. These are a people promised of eternal happiness under the light of the Trees, yet both happiness and the Trees are gone now. Gone ...
