My gods, it's been possibly over a year, maybe even more than ... cripes, my entire time at BB&T? ... that I haven't actually brought any art to even THIS stage of finishing.

... I'm so goddamn rusty, I can't believe I'm not covered in reddish brown corrosion. And yet, I feel at least a modicum of satisfaction with this if only for the fact that this picture has been a long time in coming. This picture has been wanting to be drawn for ... ages. I can't even give you a proper estimate of just how long.

And so it all came at once. Over the course of a day...
I kind of wish I actually just went to bed tonight, but I had to finish this. If I didn't finish it now, I'm positive I would have never.

Anyway, enough about me and more about Cyrus.

This is as up to date a portrayal of him that anyone is likely going to see; his future is uncertain. He's been researching for some way to control The Eternal Storm over his land for years, now, IRL Years, in fact, and something tells me he's finally gotten around to it. I just, well, I finally finished designing exactly what it is he wears and how he wears it AFTER I stopped drawing for an extended period of time. And now, I've finally done it; finally shown him with all relevant surface equipment, and displaying his primary ability: wind elemental control. Here, he's obviously using it to influence weather in general.

Anyway that's enough. I'm glad I finally got this off my chest. I wish my imagination had more things in it that I want to draw. Safe journeys.
