Not every situation goes as expected, something Janarr found out when at the beach on lifeguard duty and he spotted a kid struggling in the surf and getting caught up in what was potentially a riptide. Without hesitation Janarr lept from his post and strided out into the water to retrieve the poor child. Janarr pulled him back to shore where a few people quickly gathered around. The kid was fine, but once coming back to his senses and seeing Janarr looming over him the kid lost his shit as if he was just greeted by a horror movie monster. And that's when the mother peered through the crowd.

Her reaction was what threw everyone into confusion. She immediately began to accost Janarr and accuse him of bullying her child and abducting him out of the water against his will. She had completely misread the situation and instead assumed the complete worst. Barraging Janarr with harsh words, accusations, and threats that she'd get him fired. It's one thing to get into a fight and take a beating. But to be the victim of an upset mother whose falsely accusing you of something against her child and then to threaten to take away the lifeguarding duty that you enjoy.

The mother after all that took her son and left the beach, leaving behind the boys decorative bracelet that had fallen off in the sand. This encounter was with Janarr all day, weighing on his mind and effecting his mood even as he got into bed with his partner Avaetre. Something which she quickly began to notice and asked him about, getting him to tell her about what happened that day.

Janarr: "Janarr is sorry if he ruined our mood."
Avaetre: "Janarr, your feelings are just as important as mine. I know you boys sometimes bottle things up, but that often times does more harm than good."
Janarr: "So Janarr should share thoughts more for Ava."
Avaetre: "Exactly, whenever something is bothering my Jan Jan. Tell me. You listen to me rant all the time about shit. No reason you can't do the same.
Avaetre Laughs
Avaetre: "Hell I actually feel pretty fucking good after bitching about something."
Janarr: "As you wish. I will try and be more of a bitch just like my Ava.
Avaetre pauses and collects herself
Avaetre: "Yeah that's close enough."
