I love the deep and warm grain pattern in the myrtlewood finish of this Breedlove Pursuit. It is a concert-sized guitar, smaller than the dreadnoughts which make up most of my acoustic collection. Thanks to differences in both size and tonewood, this guitar has a sound that is unique in my herd.

I'll say it again : I love figured wood on a musical instrument or a piece of antique furniture. Curly, flamey, tiger stripe, bird's eye, fiddleback, ribbon, medullary...I love them all. And, the warm, subtly shaded brown of this pretty guitar's finish showcases the figured top beautifully.
