The Last Unicorn was a very formulative piece of media for me. I watched it obsessively as a small child. Like, every night. This ended when my mother hid it when I was around 4/5 (I was having reoccurring nightmares of being chased by the Red Bull, she meant well).

This is a piece I have wanted to do for... honestly a long while. I don’t normally draw fan art. It is not a habit I got into during high school years.

As an adult I can see and understand the Bull was a tool, not something that chose to do the bidding of king Haggard. The beast is just the cudgel, and most likely as imprisoned as the unicorns in the sea.
