Commentary: Austin has been my OC for a while. This is the exposition to his growing-up story. Will this be a fetish story? Yes, yes it will be. But there is a lot more to him than just his weight. Austin has big dreams and an even bigger heart. His story will be wholesome because he is surrounded by loving parents and friends. Will it be perfect? No, because no one is and no one’s life is. But will it have a happy ending? You betcha. I hope you enjoy getting to know Austin through these slices of life.

Thanks for the compliment! As for your worry, I figured some readers might have that anxiety--it comes with the territory. It's why I felt the need to add Dallas's homecoming to the end. It made for a sweeter ending, so I'm quite happy with it! But, yeah, don't worry: I'll make sure Dallas always makes it home safe.
