It's no secret that I enjoyed a little thing called the PokeCombat Academy when I was younger. It was full of fantastic artists and amazingly creative ideas on what a world of Pokemorphs would look like. Needless to say, it influenced me deeply on deciding to make a good part of my sonas Pokemon/Pokemorphs.
Umbre Rygone was my first Pokesona and he's still a favorite of mine. Quite, calm, thoughtful, and intelligent, he was the kind of person that didn't say much but people listened when he did talk. Much of his attacks showcase that with moves that are meant to throw off his opponents, such as sand attack and double team, while still being able to chip away at them with quick attack before they can get their bearings. Then, when they make a critical mistake, he can finish them off with a well-placed shadowball.
While I don't engage with the PCA as a concept much anymore, it's still a fun idea to bring up every so often in order to dream of what things could have been had things in our reality been just a little bit different.
And shuddup! Messenger bags are cool! :c
Ah man, I think I commissioned this when I was still in highschool as a senior. How time flies, huh? If there's one thing I'm fairly happy about with my characters is that while they may have undergone small changes now and again they have largely remained the same. While there's still that chance that they may have a major change happen to them, I'm proud that I took the time to really think about what I liked from the get-go and stuck with it.
Whatever happens, I know I'll never abandon them!
