Interstellar. It's got far too much drag to be very good in the air.

Yeah, she looks very stocky. Not much maneuverability in those wings/stumps.

But vectoring helps, you can make a brick turn on a dime with enough thrust.

True. I was referring to her lack of control in an atmosphere though. Wings only serve to cool a ship in space by radiating heat.

Eh, a flexible skin can make the entire ship a control surface...but that requires nanotech that's still a few years away. And probably not that useful on an armored craft.

Seems like some canards would help with the thrust vectoring to aid with atmospheric maneuverability, maybe even sweeping the wings forward?

I'll be cranking out more designs here shortly. I'm content with this staying in space and being a complete brick in the air.
