Need to run home. Started to transform into a raccoon on the train. I mean no one was looking, has to be a New York thing. Only 2 blocks on a very public busy sidewalk. Up the stairs to reach elevator hopefully all those security cameras aren’t being monitored at that moment. Oh wait what do I tell my family?

Yeah, people randomly transforming into animals isn't nearly the weirdest thing that's happened in New York City. One time a human that had lived in the North Pole stumbled into town after an encounter with a rabid raccoon and the next thing you know Santa's crash-landed in Central Park.
