So my character Haleigh was originally created as an expression of the rage and hatred that I harbor for the people and things that have hurt me or the people I love. But since that part of me doesn't show itself that often, I tend not to draw Haleigh in settings that really fit her original design.

But yeah, a couple days ago I saw something that made me feel incredibly hurt, betrayed and angry, so I drew this instead of reacting in a bad way and doing/saying things that would only make things worse. I'm over it now, but this drawing did end up to be helpful in more ways than just releasing the badness.

For this piece I utilized a number of new coloring techniques that I picked up from people like  ivybeth,  coffinberry and  txkIt was a lot of fun to do and I really like how it turned out. I like learning new things about arts :D So thank you guys for inspiring me to improve. <3

I'm not sure if I'm done with this, I feel like the right side of the image is too empty and the shadows might be too... brown. I dunno. If any of you have suggestions I'd be happy to hear them! :D
