Ladies and gentlemen, meet Kuro the Black Dragon! He's a Dragon Tales OC I made several years ago when I was brainstorming ideas for a Dragon Tales movie. Kuro is a dragon that has found himself lost in the Forest of Darkness for too long and as such has blackened scales and has a more brutish personality. However, he can be dependable when he wants to be, even if he doesn't talk much...

As for that Dragon Tales movie, it was an idea I had where if I had the opportunity to bring the show back, I would introduce new human characters and slowly drip feed new character in Dragon Land. Kuro would be one of those new characters. The film itself acts as a pilot, being an extended version of the first episode and having an overarching plot about "saving Dragon Land", whilst adapting other stories in a "Best of Dragon Tales" style tribute.
