I kinda get the impression that you're not used to furry or anime conventions. "cringey" stuff like this or sfw ways of advertising either your fetishes or other niche interests are often embraced and encouraged to be on display. As long as its in ways that are appropriate for the public and arent harassing or seriously disturbing other folks. This picture is about as disturbing as the scene of Jafar in Aladdin going "The Absolute Power!!" which I think we can all agree isn't inappropriate to be showing off in public.
It's basically just the same as having decoration or merch of a copyrighted character, only its *my own* character! fun!

A fetish can be demonstrated in a non-sexual way, Victorian men developed fetishes focusing on feet, shoes, and boots, but we wouldnt deem any of those things inappropriate to show to minors. Similarly, we've got characters like the Hulk or Jafar or so many others (especially in the furry fandom) that are fetishized but still the character themselves is appropriate to show in public. Someone with a Gardevoir or Hulk or Loona or Lola Bunny or Jessica Rabbit bag or t-shirt is free to wear them if they have a fetish for an aspect of that character, and it doesnt suddenly make the thing with that character on it inappropriate to wear around a public space where minors might be.
