Say hello to Ensign Meeka.
I searched all over the net, researched the Irken culture and names. I came up with nothing I liked as far as names go. I even found a name generator, still nothing. Actually Ash was the first name that popped up, which is funny. I like the name but I already have an Ash, actually two. xD
So when I finally finished this I stared at it for a while and for some reason Meeka came to mind. I like it. If you think she deserves a better name, speak out.
She is well known for losing her temper when things get rough, but she is good at her job. She also does not get along very well with Lt. Mira. Good thing Mira is down in engineering. xD Meeka is on the Bridge as an operations officer. Lower in rank than most of the crew, but higher than the crewmen, Meeka is not afraid to let her voice be heard, but she knows when to keep her mouth shut. Somewhat boastful and cocky at times, but she can be a great friend. She loves donuts and snack cakes, but like all Irkens, she can’t tolerate water, so none of her food can contain any water content. [Good thing the food replicator can make over 4,000 dishes and counting.] Also like Irken Invaders, her PAK has various tools that can be used if need be. She is one of the first to work with other aliens, and she is one of the taller of her species. Still, nothing compared to the Tallest.
So there is a bit about her. She will be developing soon with the others. :D
I love, LOVE her boots. –hugs them- I’ve always had a thing for steel-toed boots…
I found out that it’s the eye shape that mostly defines an Irken. I was thinking at first…they all look the same but when I pulled up a picture of all the Invaders, I noticed that head shape and eye shape had a lot to do with their character.
