Got to talking about Scooter Computer and Mister Chips, as one will --- see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drnpX6dtYfs for their first adventure --- and felt like drawing this icon of early-80s Saturday morning public service announcements. So here it is!
Special things to admire in the video: that 80s thing of people insisting computers helped with recipes; sister using the computer to log her three dates in separate months; and Mister Chips grinding away and finally producing a list of US states that border the Pacific Ocean that fails to list Hawai'i.
Now I need to learn how to draw the Sesame Street Typewriter so I can start shipping them.

It's possible --- I suppose there's no way to track this down --- although my guess would be independent recreations from similar design thoughts.
Like, you want a computer pal that's kid-sized and with a nice big face, since that's friendly. But you also want them to be able to get around on their own. Rolling on casters plays up how this is Technology, not Biology, and it's also really easy to animate. But it would be great to hear if someone's interviewed the people actually behind these characters.
