dreaming of Hot Springs nearly done
well i have a couple of things left, i need to work on the horse a little more, its been awhile since i drew one, so i have forgotten where all the muscles go, and need to work on the head some more and the sky in the background. i hope the water looks like water and the hole in the ground hot spring looks right. I was thinking most wild horses will be chocolate colored mustangs, and there would be more mineral cyanide or iron calification in the rock around the hot springs but i really don't not ever having been there, yet.

I'm so glad that you are finishing it! You have it all right, even though you have never been there, including the red/tan iron stains from the mierals dissolved in the hot water. The water looks like water reflecting the bright blue sky. You even have the tinge of transparent green from the suspended algae! The wild horses are usually chocolate brown to tan to grey as desert camo. I've had wild horses come as close as three feet, though that is rare - of course, if I looked like that...
Lookin' great! It all looks really awesome, but I think my absolute favorite part so far is the ground around the hotspring. Really, really beautiful colors and excellent shading!
Of course, the shading in general is really great. I like seeing this in it's different stages of completion. :3
