Biography: OpticSunflower.EXE is one of 2 Netnavis created by Junichiro & Palutena's 1/2 Mermaid daughter Suite; the other being AstroMan.EXE, to be used whenever Suite paid a visit to help out in the Battle Network universe given her dislike of being left out on fun occasions often. He was created while Suite's father was out on a job in Olympus's amusement park as she had the urge to try her hands out on programming. She was originally going to have OpticSunflower.EXE be named BounceMan.EXE, essentially modeled after the robot master of the same name. However, Suite was not able to get the data measurements right for this to come to pass, so she ended up splitting her data into 2 fragments & went from there. OpticSunflower.EXE was made from the 2nd fragment & she wound up pleased with the end result. OpticSunflower.EXE looks quite similar to the maverick he is modeled after, but there are indeed differences. While his head is the same as the original's, the pipeline serving as his neck is half the length of the original's for balance purposes. His armor is also somewhat thicker than the original's, but still retains the skinny appearance of the original. Also, he can turn his petal fingers into normal fingers when the situation calls for it. But the biggest difference is that he is a Light & Wood themed navi rather than light & space themed. When officially brought to the Mega Man Battle Network universe, OpticSunflower.EXE was a proven hit with the girls in class despite him being assistant teacher like his operator. During battle tests, OpticSunflower.EXE proved himself to be quite the capable fighter in his own right as he was able to topple 5 navis at once without breaking a sweat. In the incident with ElecMan.EXE, he proved to be a most vital asset as he was able to hold off ElecMan.EXE's electric attacks by redirecting the bolts he fired into the earth around him harmlessly. Though he then left it up to the rest of the party to finish him off, he still helped out as much as possible, and since then, he's always been ready to lend a hand when asked to do so. OpticSunflower.EXE is a rather flamboyant individual, but he is nonetheless a jolly & bright soul who is always approachable. He is rather appreciative of botanical efforts & loves each minute he spends with Suite whenever she is in a flower shop, or planting in a garden. However, if there's one thing he really hates, it's being mistaken for a woman. At first he'll patiently correct those who mistake him for one, but if happens too many times in one go, he'll explode with rage. A walking encyclopedia on sunflowers.
Abilities: As mentioned above, OpticSunflower.EXE is a Wood-Type Netnavi, meaning he has an advantage over electric enemies, but is weak to fire attacks. And like virtually all wood-type navis & viruses, this enables him to heal rapidly anytime he's standing on grass panels. However, he also doubles as a Light-Type Navi, so he is a sense is a lightroid; a navi born to be the polar opposite of the darkloids. In battle, he is well balanced in terms of speed & power as he can avoid attacks with ease, and still deliver some painful hits of his own the first chance he gets. His attacks are as follows.
Holy Power: OpticSunflower.EXE is capable of imbuing non-elemental chips with light so they can damage darkloids & dark souls effectively. This prevents dark chips from being used however.
Bullet Seed: OpticSunflower.EXE's basic attack. Fires a 5-hit vulcan of seeds down his current row. Wood-Type.
Petal Blizzard: OpticSunflower.EXE's charge attack. By rotating his face rapidly as a fan, OpticSunflower.EXE sends a huge stream of petals down all rows at random. Wood-Type. Wind Attribute.
Petal Razor: OpticSunflower.EXE throws his head down in a boomerang fashion. Should he be on the center row, then he'll only throw it down that row. Wood-Type. Sword Attribute.
Ingrain Trap: OpticSunflower.EXE sets a sect of roots on the panels in front, behind, atop, and below him to absorb nutrients from the earth to restore his HP. At this time, vines will start coming forth in the enemy field. Should an enemy be snagged, their health will be sapped until the foe is either deleted, or 300HP has been drained. Should the vines hit grass panels, then they will be removed & restore 50HP per panel touched.
Ray Cage: OpticSunflower.EXE summons a cage of light & throws it down his current row. Should the opponent be captured, they will remain caged & susceptible to breaking attacks. Sometimes he'll make the cage travel up & down 3 columns should the initial throw miss. This is a trapping move so it doesn't deal damage.
Ray Carnival: OpticSunflower.EXE throws his face in a boomerang fashion, but this time to fire rays of light onto the enemy field. If standing in the center row, he'll throw his face down to the enemy's center panel & rays will spread all around the remaining 8 spaces in a clockwise fashion. Light-Type.
Shining Ray: OpticSunflower.EXE charges energy into his face & then fires it into the enemy's field going down 3 squares deep before ultimately motioning it all across the other panels in a random pattern. He will avoid hitting mystery data if one is present. Light Element.
Solar Beam: A stronger variant of Shining Ray, but with the power of wood added to the mix. OpticSunflower.EXE once more charges more power into his face, but does so for 5 seconds longer, and then fires the beam. He will always draw in the enemy field in an S formation.
Earth Crush: One of OpticSunflower.EXE's ultimate attacks. He targets a random panel to fire a large light empowered laser down upon to it. The first laser hits in a + range. The 2nd hits in an X range, and the final laser hits the whole 3x3 area.
Solar Crush: OpticSunflower.EXE's other ultimate attack, but with the power of wood in addition to light. This hits the same ranges as Earth Crush, but it has a chance to leave grass panels on the last blast.
