Ah, sorry for the delay in response!!
Here is a copy paste of how I explained it to another person! :) Sorry it's long- hopefully it makes sense lol!
It means "Offer to Adopt"!
So essentially I set a minimum amount you can offer- but the minimum isn't as high as it would be for something like an auction. And also, it isn't quite first come first serve- if I want to wait and see if I get any other higher offers, I can. However, it goes the same the other way around- if I'm okay with the lower offer, I can accept it right then!
For example, on most of the ones I posted the minimum amount you can offer is $5- so you can offer only 5, or you can offer a bit higher if you want your offer to be more likely accepted. Or, if you just think it's worth a bit more! That's a big thing about OTA- offering an amount that is still affordable for you, but also offering more to the artist if you think they put a lot of effort into it.
But offering more than the minimum is totally not required! It's just that the higher the offer the more likely it is to be accepted right away :)
I'm not going to be too picky! (especially if nsfw is added)
I prefer a bit higher than the minimum offer, but it doesn't have to be anything ridiculous. ^^
