Recently I acquired an unusual piece from a family friend, who does magnet fishing for a hobby. He knew I had an interest in the railroad, so he gave me what I assume is a switch indicator. I'm not sure how old it is but it has some serious rust damage, and one of the glass lenses is missing. I would be grateful if any railfans could help me ID this thing.
