Today we have to put one of our cats' Toxins down. Ever since we got him he has always been a sickly cat with a bad case of allergy and we did our best to keep him comfortably for over 12 to 13 years, we have to remove some of his teeth a couple of years ago because of gingivitis so he had a drooly problem but we still loved him. He wasn't really looking good for the last year or so starting to get very thin and slow and wasn't eating as much as before so we took him to see the Vet today and long story short we decided it would be best for him to put him down cause the option we had for him was ether prolonging his suffering or make his condition worst (by removing the rest of his teeth)
This is the photo we took before I we put him down as you could see he wasn't looking good at least he not suffering anymore.

Really sorry to hear about that. A few years ago, there was cat I was tending to at Pet Smart that seemed to have a good deal of having problem breathing. He sounded so haggard and looked tired all the time. I tried to pick him in hopes of making him feel comfortable, though just climb out of my arms and merely laid down on a nearby cat stand. The following week I came to help clean up, I found out they had to put him down. I was really sad to hear about that and it was the first time I had to deal with the fact that these things can happen.
I do hope that you can remember any of the good time you shared with him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know what it's like to lose pets. I lost my guinea pig in the past, then my rabbit. Then I lost my dog, my grandfather and my great grandfather within a year and a half of each other. Again, I'm very sorry. When you cry, just know that that means that you really cared for him and loved him very much, and he knows that. It's also healthy to have a good cry now and then. Hopefully your cat rests peacefully.
