My good friend,  DaiCymru was recently in town for a visit. Both of us have an interest in aviation, so it was natural for us to visit Doc. This World War II era B-29 bomber has been fully restored to flying condition and is one of only two flying examples of this airplane in the world today.

I decided to try something a little different and took my 5.8mm fisheye lens to see what I might get. I think the results turned out pretty well, but you can judge for yourself.

The Education & Visitors Center has a large balcony that runs the full width of Doc’s hangar. It is home to a number of artifacts, videos, and other exhibits that tell the story of this wonderful aircraft. But the best part of all is the view as you look down on Doc from above.
