woo hoo c'est fin...love you 4ever gurl, looking sooooo good. This may be weird but I absolutely love how the blue mouth looks for some reason. I think you captured my excited happy look amazingly too
Wish I had time to build some shades, of course I'm bringing enough bandannas for an army. Thanks for capping off a tough week in style too

Trufax! I recently bought a ton of foam - getting excited about making my first suit! I do have to ask - how do you do your eyes? I have no idea how anyone does them. TaniDaReal's tutorials mentioned cutting plastic bowls and doing the pupils with sunglasses.. which sounds like a pretty good idea to me since mesh is harder to see out of.
Well it really depends. I'll just tell you how I do mine =3
I use plastic bowls as well. I got mine from dollar general and 4 normally come in a pack.
as for the irises, I use mesh because the sun glasses can fog up and in turn, make it MUCH harder to see out of. You'd have to take the head off just to clear the eyes but you'd probably have to do that every time you take a breath. At least that's what happened to me. I use a matirial called Buckram that you can get from joanes and it's pretty simple to see out of. as for the coloring part, I use Deco-Color paint pens that you can get from Micheal's or Jo-ans.
Here's what the bowls look like~ http://www.usphome.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=74641&catid=963
Also, to cut through the matirial can be pretty hard and a little dangerous the way I do it but it proves for good results.
I use a pair of scissors to just the shape of the eye out and a razor blade to cut out the inner circle or oval. That's the dangerous part because it's a tough material and you can easily cut yourself. I just cut myself extremely deep cutting out HiFi's eyes because the blade broke and cought my finger so just use extreme caution. =3
I really hope this helps~
