Shiny himself is not much of an inflator but tends to be surprised and often amused whenever his dudes come with inflation tricks at him. After all, you can have that cozy bloated feel and an interesting sensation of transformation and growth through it. Buoyancy is also neat as you get a nice view then. He'd definitely happily join the games of Inflation whether being observed as he goes bigger or giving others an encouraging squeakyhug, not even minding being sqished between them and teh floor/wall/ceiling.

Can only really imagine Fern being in love with the idea of his dudes being big and slightly immobile because he finds that state cute. He himself has a bit of a round shape and I could imagine he is good at inflating his own cheeks like little balloons. Who knows what fantastic things pop into his head whenever he's at the chance to puff up someone he likes. You made him look a bit timid and shy but also like a lost in his own thoughts kinda way. He seems friendly-quirky. ^_^

He does love it, he does it as often as he can, well, within reason, he has his limits, and lets his friends feel Some relief from his constant inflationary fun.

His mind is quite the Enigma~ he tries his darndest to remain Unidentifiable. You never know what Thought he's having, what Mood he's in. what he's thinking. it's, Spooky, like if you saw a raccoon or a bear just Staring at you, you don't know what it wants, you don't know if it's contemplating killing you or just thinks you look neat, really puts the other pals on edge.

Ah, I was okay with everything up till the point you used the word 'kill' here. I am usually nobody who'd think someone who likes such a toony fun would ever be spooky. I mean, one can be absent-minded at times and a little derpy in behavior. Even if you'd have a dude who is enjoying the idea of popping another toony character here and there or basically a trickster who appears in a jump-scare-way behind you when you don't assume it (kinda like a Cat that comes closer whenever you look away), it can all be fun and dandy, I feel. <:3

But yeah, I think Shiny would be fine with one of his dudes being the silent type and not assume that he's disliking Shiny or want to cause him harm just because he's following behind without saying much and being lost in his obsession. =3

That! Ferns like that, sorry to use the word kill i just, didn't Quite know how else to word it. He's, Unsettling when he wants to be, and just as you explained, he can appear behind people and Scare the dooky outta them.

Shiny can be rather unsuspecting and is likely a rather easy target. People often find him enjoying some music, gazing at clouds or looking at things as he's having fun in the moment using that to pick him up from behind. Various prankster types used that to surprise the jolly Dile with. Fern wouldn't have to wait for just imagining Shiny big all that often as rather than seeing the Totodile grow and grow like certain Koopaloons.
