After the events leading to the creation of the toon-iverse, the ex-extradimensional being turned cartoon shoebill stork set about studying the strange phenomena that occurred within this strange dimension while keeping himself entertained through rampant experimentation and inventions thanks to his extradimensional knowledge. His contraptions would go largely unnoticed until Ricardo, not yet the wealthy CEO he is now, saw an opportunity and took a risk in funding his inventions. Many would end in failure, but would eventually strike gold in the form of the NES-Tech module, a device that created pocket dimensions that allowed for buildings to have much larger interiors than they appear to have from the outside. This device alone catapulted Ricardo and Etc. Inc. as a whole into the corporate powerhouse it is today.

Despite all this success, Percival was still obsessed with the mysteries behind the continuity resets and other strange events. Percival was once an extradimensional being tasked with maintaining balance amongst the multiverse, and for the first time in his existence, he couldn't find an answer, and his obsession for finding it would end with Ricardo finding the poor R&D scientist curled up in a pile of notes muttering incoherent nonsense to himself. Percival; was given some R&R to recover from the manic episode, but ever since then, a part of him was broken, completely lost to the insanity of the toon-iverse, and will sometimes lose himself when he becomes invested in his work, especially when he has "willing" test subjects to play guinea pig for whatever contraption he's cooked up...
