A creature of unknown origins that watches over the crumbling ruins of an ancient temple. Bound by priests of a long-forgotten people, the skull serves as a magical seal that binds the amalgam's soul inside the body. It watches, unwavering, guarding. What does it see? Past? Present? Future? Bad sitcom reruns? We aren't to know. We know that no-one told it that staring is considered rude.
Funfacts:
● When inactive, the crest folds down inward over the skull (like flower petals)
● Under blacklight/uv light, has wildly bright markings on its frill.
● The Skull artifact is forged of copper, and is magically inscribed. it covers the hole that contains the true "face" of the creature, which has only been seen by 6 mortals eons ago.
● It could communicate telepathically with the priests- now cannot be understood as the language has been forgotten. Not a good conversationalist.
