And she seems to get off on him 'watching' her...
Quite good. I still have your Hotel California on hand, the ashcan that was sold a few years ago... Cool stuff.
This is good, great art, but that one is more my liking, more because I love the Eagles. :P You should definitely do more of these.
I have been trying to convince myself to do one.. based on Livin' on Prayer by Bon Jovi...

Very impressive comic! I can't imagine all the detailing that went into this piece. I especially like the "rainfall' effects on the previous pages.
Also, I like the end, where she seems to acknowledge that she's aware of his constant watching.
Very cool work! A cigar & a drink for you!

Always hated this song, the Police, and Sting, but you have made the song bearable with your superb art that will perpetually run through my head whenever I hear it.
Also, your art has become fucking awesome. Before I found you on FA the latest of your work I saw was "Rat and Ruin." Marked improvement!

Man... "R&R" was a while ago, and no Photoshop availability to me... just raw n'draw. I do try to improve my abilities here and there when I can. I'm sur if I could get the hang of 3D Max or Flash, I'd be banned from FA quick!
Does this mean that you are going to curse me for making this song bearable every time you hear it?

Yeah, "The Art Lesson" was good. The thing about some of Hardiman's work is that his girls' 2-dimensional sluttiness turns me off, but I've never read his non-Genus work so I'll give the benefit of the doubt on writing. Also most of his girls' genitals look so nasty it just disgusts me. Sometimes not, but...
"Rogue and the Syndicate Daughter" was yours. It was really funny and a LOT more fappable than some others in Genus. It seemed kind of stupid in places, but I'm pretty sure it was on purpose to be funny.

I have been always in the mindset that stupidity is an observer's virtue and resource for comedic compositions... Benny Hill or Monty Python would know this. Hardiman's x-stuff has always leaned on the extreme graphic, which seems to have been a typical appetite for LOTS of his readers and fans. Rosales' stuff is just too addictive and dangerous to manipulate... like a form of artistic methamphetamine, you just can't get enough of. ( ...if only I had that kind of power... )
You overestimate Rosales. He is good, but not better than you. Different is a better word. His and your artistic styles are completely different and only share the furry subject matter.
The writing of "The Art Lesson" seems to be as simple as him fantasizing with the male lead being a self-insertion. That is easy.
Meanwhile your writing is much more imaginative. While it is not Shakespeare by any means it is very fun to read which I believe is the whole point of comics, especially smut comics.

I'm a fan of Rosales art due to my affection towards one of his Wildllifer stories... and collaborated on MANY artshow projects with him through the years...
My writing (story) abilities are admittedly unremarkable and often childish looking as years go by, and I was never a good reader to emulate the details of good story construction... What you may have seen in my works is mostly trial & error, fly-by-my-teeth guesswork and what logically seems common sense... also my great dosage of DVD movies and episodic television series gave me that "cinematographer's eye" approach to drawing out a concept.
I do not recall of any furry artist or writer doing an "Anthro-Bard" interpretation, whether it was bad or epically good...
"Smut" seems an awfully harsh term for those whom enjoy furrotica... I'd term it as "Illustrated Bio-Frivolity"

Maybe I didn't say what I meant to express to you. I apologize. All I meant was that you shouldn't belittle yourself. Your art is very good. And I didn't mean to put down Rosales, either. I only meant that he's by no means "better" than you.
As for "smut" being too harsh, I like it better than just calling it "porn" outright.:)

Well... "porn" does twiddle it down to just one easy syllable...
I belittle myself a lot because I have low confidence in my art potential... a rather unexcused trait of disappointment due to lack of self-promotion, slackerness and no commission traffic presence... I'm not internet savvy enough to understand how to constantly maintain a personal website or web-comic, my finances and job restraints limit me to just one con a year (Further Confusion) and for the most part, I don't have a popular character EVERYBODY wants to fornicate with.
Tried and true, I'm in the blue... but, I do enjoy creating these furry visions and the feedback it generates now... a sort of healing process, I'spose...
