You know? I think this is an excellent example of one of those comics which the artist needed the technology to catch up with him so it could be rendered properly. I really admire your skills with the textures and creating moods using dark and light forms in dynamic compositions. Of course the lyrics being from one of my favorite songs by The Police, helps. (!983? Sheesh! it doesn't seem THAT long ago.)
I still remember the video on MTV back when they PLAYED music videos!
I guess you're right about tech catch-up ( or is it must-ard??) Anyway... this is all culmination of hard trial and error and just pure drive to get this monster done over the years. Look at this strip to the one on Red Riding Hood I did in 2001... Who knows what my next strip will evolve into?

It's really no different than those Sing-A-Long books that came with the 45' vinyl records of years past... I think I had few of them as a kid... I DO pick songs that I like enough to do a project like this and have lyrics all through it. It would be very difficult to do a massive project like say Pink Floyd's DARK SIDE OF THE MOON in a furry sense with all those instrumental parts... If you noted the little CD time icons on page seven I put in to help readers through the non-lyrical parts, Moon's constant compositions would require DOZENS of those icons, thus making the visuals a bit cumbersome... I'd rather do a slide-show comic in widescreen format for a project that ambitious..
in the comment section place the numbers from the strips in the nav bar http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4792383/
the first one would be
[-,4792383,4792433]
it will be displayed as [Prev|First|Next]
the "-" sign indicates there is no previous strip the second number is the first strip and the third number is the next one in the series and when you reach the end of the series place - in the third place indicating there is no next strip. no spaces and remember the brackets
as you go through them just keep the middle one the same as it is the first strip
hope that helps
